Welcome to Blair & Kennard
Blair was platted in 1869 when the Sioux City and Pacific Railroad was extended to that point.[6] It was named for railroad magnate John Insley Blair, who was credited with bringing the railroad to town.[7] Blair was incorporated as a city in 1872.[8] Within its first year, Blair was designated county seat.
Kennard is a village in Washington County, Nebraska, about 7 West of Blair. A small town with many acreage homes being constructed.
